"I have been fortunate with what I have been able to see and experience thus far. Yet the more I travel and the more I see, the more I come to the realization that nature is not only worth seeing, but it is most definitely worth saving."

As an emerging artist traveling throughout the world to study art and his subjects, Bobby continuously makes it clear he is seeking more. He is seeking more out of life and more out of his art, which for him seem to go hand in hand. It might appear to make sense now, but it hasn`t always been that way. But combining a fierce passion for life, a relentless desire to learn, and a love of the outdoors and nature, while also having the ability and sincere desire to put his emotions on canvas all make Bobby who he is.
When possible, he has been taking part in conservation projects throughout Africa, studying his subjects directly and intimately, while helping to preserve what he believes is a fantastically rich and diverse continent worth caring for. He`s been face to face with rhinos on foot, jumped on by a lion (during a lion rehabilitation program), along with firsthand encounters with deadly snakes, and mock charges by elephants, yet he has somehow managed to love every second of it. Doing all of this has come with an undying respect for nature and those around him, as he knows he is a guest in some of the most beautifully harsh countries in the world. Not surprisingly, the experiences he gains during his explorations and adventures have truly inspired him well beyond what he was anticipating.
Having these experiences and studies to work from allow him to transfer such emotion and intensity onto canvas creating something much more than mixed paint and canvas. Reliving these experiences through his paintings gives him tremendous satisfaction. But for Bobby, the ultimate satisfaction comes when he has managed to give his audience a moving experience of their own.
